This case shows orthodontic treatment in a child, carried out by Dr. Gig (Dr. Natthanan Rujeerapaiboon). The patient came to us with protruding upper front teeth (an overjet of about 10 mm) and a deep bite. The upper teeth sat forward of the lower teeth, and the lower jaw was small. Dr. Gig first fitted a Twin Block, a functional appliance that encourages the lower jaw to grow.
After that stage, she treated the patient with braces using a non-extraction approach to correct the protrusion and the bite. When treatment ended, the teeth were neatly aligned and the bite was normal. The patient now has an attractive smile.

After examination, Orthodontist plan to use twin block prior start braces. After treatment, patient has more esthetic facial profile and good positioning of teeth.
