There are generally 2 phases of dental implant procedure.
Stage I: Implant placement
1.Initial consultation with the dentist is always be the first thing to do. Primary examination for example x-ray or impression, might be taken at the first day.
2.Implant placement will be done under local anesthesia. This procedure take 1-3 hours. At this point, you still feel gap at the missing teeth.
3.Stitch off the suture 1-2 weeks after the surgery.
Phase II: Making a dental crown
At this stage you will need 2-3 months after surgery for conventional implant placement. The abutment are placed on the implant.
Finally, your final restoration has come.
