Correcting Crowded and Protruding Teeth with Damon Clear, Without Extractions

This case shows treatment with Damon Clear braces.

The patient came to us with two concerns:

• Crowded teeth
• Protruding front teeth

Dr. Natthanan Rujeerapaiboon (Dr. Gig) planned the treatment without extractions, using arch expansion and elastics to open up space for aligning the teeth.

The braces chosen were the Damon system, which uses self-ligating brackets with a built-in clip. This reduces friction, so the teeth move efficiently and with less pain. After treatment, the patient’s teeth were neatly aligned, the front teeth stuck out less and the bite was improved. Treatment took 1.5 years. Damon Clear starts at 80,000 THB.
